Holzschnitt Workshop / „Fortgeschritten“
Du hast bereits Kontakt mit Druckgrafik gehabt, Holzschnitt im Speziellen, kennst die Abläufe in der Werkstatt und weißt wie man ein Konturenmesser richtig hält und eine Druckpresse bedient? Außerdem hast du Lust auf Austausch und die Arbeit in einer kleinen Gruppe an einem gemeinsamen Thema? Dann bist du hier genau richtig.
Wir nehmen uns zwei Tage Zeit um einen einfarbigen Holzschnitt zu einem Überthema und im einheitlichen Format zu erarbeiten. Die Themen stehen vorher fest sodass ihr bereits Ideen entwickeln könnt, wir werden aber auch als Gruppe die Thematik besprechen und Ideen evaluieren.
Ich werde ebenfalls am Thema mitarbeiten, stehe aber jederzeit für Hilfestellungen und Fragen zur Verfügung.
Ziel an diesen beiden Tagen ist Austausch und die Anfertigung eines einfarbigen, themengebundeen Holzdrucks in einer kleinen Auflage bis zu fünf Drucken, im einheitlichen Format.
Der Workshop ist zweitägig, Werkzeug und weiteres Material werden gestellt.

Woodcut workshop / „Advanced“
You`ve already made first contact with printmaking, woodcut in particular, know how to handle a carving knife and how to use a printing press? You also like the exchange with other artists and you look forward to work in a small group and on a main topic? Then you`re in the right place here.
On this two day workshop you will work on a single colored woodcut, in a coherent format and a coherent theme that changes from workshop to workshop. You have time to think about the theme beforehand but we also have time to develope and evaluate ideas in the group in the workshop.
I will also work on the theme with the group, but of course i`m available at all times for assistance and questions.
Goal on this two days is clearly the exchange with other artists and the development of a single colored woodcut print in a format and a theme that is coherent for every participant.
This is a two-day workshop, i will provide the cutting tools and further material (Please bring a sketchbook).
Cost per person: 220,00€ / Workshop is limited to five persons
